Take a second-rate theater company, a play called “Nothing On,” whose title perhaps references its plot, and a multitude of backstage dramas and what do you get?  Absolute, but controlled, chaos.  As the set rotates (literally), the audience views the production in three different lights while the cast and crew desperately struggle through their first and only dress rehearsal, opening night and the tour.  Once the actors’ lives begin to center around alcohol and backstage love triangles, the drama onstage becomes less and less fictional, and the audience begins to see that sometimes what’s happening onstage is nothing compared to what’s happening behind the scenes.
