Have a Blast 9 TO 5

Have a Blast 9 TO 5

Sponsored by TheBANK of Edwardsville and SOGA OB/GYN, Hard Road Theatre Productions in association with the Highland Arts Council invites you to join them for a rollicking good time as they present 9 TO 5. Based upon the 1980 movie starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton, 9 TO 5 the musical features music and lyrics written by Dolly Parton herself.

Set in 1979, 9 TO 5 is a hilarious story of friendship and revenge. It weaves the story about three unlikely friends who conspire to take control of their company and overcome their limitations. Outrageously funny, thought-provoking, and even a little romantic, 9 TO 5 is a show about teaming up and taking care of business and getting credit and getting even. The show features the famous title track, “9 to 5” in addition to such memorable songs as “Around Here”, “Here for You”, “Shine Like the Sun”, and “Backwoods Barbie.”

The cast of nearly thirty stars Lori Wahl as Violet Newstead, Breanna Noe as Judy Bernly, Erin Hoepfner as Doralee Rhodes, and Eric Sykes as Franklin Hart, Jr.  Other cast members include Mary Knebel as Roz Keith, Tim Albaugh as Joe, David Whitcare as Dwayne Rhodes, and Tom Varner as Mr.Tinsworthy. The show is directed by Evan Fifer, with musical direction by David Wilton and choreography by Christine Taylor.
