Special Episode – Christmas with WHRT

Special Episode – Christmas with WHRT

Greetings from Hard Road Theatre! Welcome to Hard Road Theatre Stage at Home Radio Serials where we step back in time and bring you tales from the Golden Age of Radio. Tonight we bring you a Special Holiday Episode brought to you by blockplanedesigns!

Imagine this – it’s the 1950’s and as the snow begins to fall, we join a minimal crew at the small, Midwest radio station, WHRT 930 for their annual Christmas broadcast. With the potential for bad weather and the ongoing “flu”, radio personality “Mac” has sent almost everyone home for the night. As the night unfolds we meet station handyman, Jake Sherman and hear from WHRT sound engineer “Sparky” Malone. If we’re lucky we may even get a visit from the big man in the red suit himself! So curl up in front of a cozy fireplace with your loved ones and join us for a Christmas broadcast that’s sure to get you in the holiday mood!
