Disney’s Little Mermaid Jr. Opening Soon!

Little Mermaid PosterCan you believe it’s July already?  In a few days, we’ll all be watching the amazing fireworks in the Highland skies (if the rain ever stops) and cooking out in the backyard.  But you know what else is coming up?

You got it – Disney’s Little Mermaid is making an appearance in the Highland High School Kennel for four days beginning Thursday, July 11th!  Now, I know what you’re thinking  –  Little Mermaid . . . water . . . fish . . . sea monsters – but don’t worry, we have all the technical details worked out.  Chances are slim that you’ll get wet at all.  Well, pretty slim.

Aren’t you curious?

Well, then it’s time to get your tickets.  Tickets are $7 if purchased online or at the Chamber of Commerce office, and $8 at the door.  So do yourself a favor – save yourself some money and make sure that you can get a seat for what promises to be a swimmingly good time!  (Sorry – I had to.)

Now stop reading this and go to our “Purchase Tickets” page (see the tab at the top of this page?)  Seating is limited so don’t wait too long.  I hear that Sebastian and Flounder are inviting ALL of their friends!

Wow – it’s already June and you know what that means . . . just over two months before school is back in session!   NO, not that!  It means that Hard Road’s production of Aladdin Jr will soon be opening.  June 20th, opening night, is just around the corner.

(Just in case you’ve been living in a cave for the last 20 years, Aladdin Jr is based on the wildly entertaining Disney movie, Aladdin   You know – the one with the big blue genie that did Robin Williams impressions.)

Soon you will be able to take a magical carpet ride  when Princess Jasmine, Genie and Aladdin embark on an adventure filled with magic and mayhem. The Academy award-winning score includes favorite songs like “A Whole New World,” “One Jump Ahead” and “A Friend Like Me.”  This year, our shows are at the Highland High School Kennel, so everyone is up close to catch ALL the action.

Tickets are available now on this web site, the Hard Road Facebook page and at the Highland Chamber of Commerce.  Tickets are $7 when purchased in advance and $8 if purchased at the door.  So get your tickets NOW!

And while you’re at it, you may want to give some thought to buying tickets for our other two summer shows – Disney’s Little Mermaid, Jr and Mel Brook’s Young Frankenstein.  All three shows promise to be wildly entertaining.
